How do the lesson reports work?
Right after each lesson, your tutor sends a short report: what was covered, what went well and what comes next. It is sent to you by email and saved to your parent dashboard. Your child also sees their own progress, written for them.
What is lesson sign-off?
After each lesson, you approve it with one tap. Every sign-off is saved. So you always have a clear record of what you paid for and can check it at any time.
What's on the parent dashboard?
Your child's marks, topics, tutor notes and goals, all in one place and kept up to date so you can see progress at any time. (The example on this page uses made-up data.)
How much does it cost?
Essential is R1,700 for 5 two-hour lessons (R170 an hour) and Premium is R3,000 for 20 hours (R150 an hour). Ultimate adds career guidance and varsity application help. Every plan includes lesson reports, sign-off and the parent dashboard.
Is tutoring online or in person?
Both. You choose online or in person when you search. In-person lessons are available in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Cape Town, and online lessons work from anywhere in South Africa.
What if the tutor isn't right?
You can switch tutors. If the reason is valid, we will arrange a new tutor within 24 hours.
Is there a contract? Can I cancel?
There is no contract and you can cancel at any time.
What if we miss a lesson?
Please tell your tutor on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before the lesson starts. A missed lesson or no-show without 24 hours' notice means the lesson is forfeited. The same notice rule applies to tutors.
How do you choose tutors, and is it safe?
Every tutor scored 80% or more in the subject they teach. We check their ID, marks and transcripts, and we interview them first.
How do you look after my child's information?
We only collect what we need to match a tutor and track progress, and we keep it safe.
